Using jobvina
jobvina is free for job seekers and free for employers. There are no listing fees, no contracts and no sales calls.
If you are looking for work
Give us accurate information, particularly about your right to work in New Zealand. Employers rely on it, and so do we when we match you.
If you are hiring
You are the author of your job advertisement and you are responsible for it.
New Zealand law — the Human Rights Act 1993, section 22 — makes it unlawful to advertise a position with a preference based on sex, marital status, religious or ethical belief, colour, race, ethnic or national origin, disability, age, political opinion, employment status, family status or sexual orientation.
We check every advertisement for this automatically and will refuse to publish one that breaches it. That check is a safeguard, not legal advice, and it does not transfer your responsibility to us.
Where a genuine occupational qualification applies under section 27, you may say so, but you must tell us why in writing and we keep that record.
Applications
We pass your advertisement's applicants to you with a match score and the reasons behind it. The score is a sorting aid. The hiring decision is yours, and so are the obligations that come with it.
Ending it
You can close your account at any time.
